The weather around Washington DC has been awful for weeks now. I keep looking longly at the weather report which shows this weekend as being sunny and 73 degrees. HOW FABULOUS! And I have a wedding to go to! Is there a better way to enjoy a sunny Saturday?
So here is the dress I am planning on wearing to the wedding. I hope I won’t be too cold. I am looking for some input regarding accessories (I am totally hoping that Anna from Meals from the Girl in the Little Black Dress is reading today because she has one fabulous fashion sense!). The dress is the Silk taffeta Lorelei dress by JCREW.

Seeing I have been a bit withdrawn from the real world lately, I haven’t been able to get this outfit together and the wedding is Saturday in Pennsylvania. I basically only have today after work to go shopping.

Last night we went to my in-laws for dinner and a few celebratory drinks. I love how inclusive they make me feel. I honestly feel like I am part of their family and genuine feel like they love me. I am lucky to have in-laws like them! And they even cooked healthy because they know how I like to eat! A roasted chicken, sweet potatoes, asparagus, salad and bread.
And I started with a Grey Goose Orange Martini
And I may have had 2 glass of red wine with dinner. For dessert, I was stuffed and just sort of grazed a few bites of birthday cake (there was a birthday on Easter) and some random easter candy.
When I tallied/averaged up the day, I came to:
Tuesday Calorie Total: 1622 cals
Breakfast
I was so stuffed from dinner last night that I woke up still full. I figured there was no point of trying to force food on my belly. So I grabbed a yogurt and ate that to just get my metabolism moving.
AM Snack
The other half of my Nature’s Valley Peanut butter granola bar
Lunch
I LOVED LOVED LOVED my sandwich yesterday, so I figured why not keep it going (I may end up having this every day this week..sorry for being so boring!)
2 slices of light wheat bread, some hummus, baba ghanouj, sprouts, red bell pepper, cucs and some arugula/spinach.
And a cup of Imagine Organic Soup–Creamy broccoli
And an orange. This thing is looking a bit funky.

I think 100 calorie bags of popcorn are my guilty pleasure. I wish Newman’s would come out with a 100 calorie bag of their all natural popcorn so I didn’t feel as guilty for consuming so many chemicals.
Calories so far today: 568 cals
(Today may be fairly low on the calories because I basically skipped breakfast and I am not going to make up those calories.)
So seeing today is Wednesday, that means spin class day! I am loving my new found Wednesday lunch time spin class. 45 minutes goes SO QUICKLY! I am definitely a bit burnt out regarding working out (I have run 3 of the past 4 days and then did the elliptical the other day.) As much as I don’t want to, I think I may need to take tomorrow off…that or take Friday. We will see. I need to keep reminding myself that taking a day off cardio is good! And my body does hit the point of exhaustion and achy’ness…and a day off is the only cure for that!
