Just a quick little post with my 5K results. It went really well! There were a few hundred people running it.
And the weather was PERFECTION.
The course was an out and back and was downhill for most of the beginning so, uphill for most of the end.
I finished my 5K in 24:48, so 8:01 per mile.
Coming in to the finish. I hope I didn’t let that guy next to me beat me!
I was pretty impressed with myself.
I also thought I might die afterwards.
I finished Top 10 overall and I finished 2nd in my age group (20-29). The girl that beat me came in like 5 seconds ahead of me. She overtook me on the final hill. GRRRR. But I have to say, I was gassed at that point!
I fell in LOVE with this car yesterday and the sticker price was $1000 above what we could afford. I figured they would come down a bit from the sticker, so I got my hopes up and was SO excited about this car. And then they said they wouldn’t budge. So no car for me. 
I was heartbroken.
All that is keeping me from my dream car is $1000….maybe they will counter offer and come down today.
Time to go shop for some more cars and then FOB. Gorgeous day!
